Compliance:

At NILAce we apply a rigorous disciplined approach to the continuous vetting and protection of our athletes. Our in-house legal counsel has industry specific experience with the NCAA in the areas of compliance and governance. This will allow us to assess any future changes, or modifications to NIL, which may affect eligibility or compensation (through any non-marketing representation agreement or endorsement related means and/or entities.) We fully review all collective and endorsement engagement agreements with our athletes prior to execution. This overall approach strengthens the partnership with the collective, university, brand companies and our athletes, while promoting a strong level of integrity, trust and transparency with all parties.

Affiliated Services:

NILAce brings access to a variety of vetted services to our athletes to choose from based upon their individual needs. These services are available as an added value to those athletes and families who otherwise may not have access to these types of premium products and services. They are optional and at the discretion of the athlete to choose.

NILAce shares in no fees, and receives no compensation for any of these services.  

As your amateur athlete career grows, and endorsement opportunities produce higher levels of compensation, NILAce is there to support you along this journey. Our optional affiliated services are available to you and consist of: certified financial planning, wealth creation and preservation, financial literacy and education. We also offer referrals for disability coverage, sports psychology and other services. Bottom line, when you grow, we grow along with you by providing more comprehensive, tailored services and support.

Jeff Jones

Jeff Jones is a Managing Partner and Wealth Advisor of Owenby Jones Wealth Management, LLC. In this role, he offers access to a full range of comprehensive financial services, including estate, financial and income planning, as well as strategic and tactical portfolio construction and management.

Prior to forming Owenby Jones Wealth Management, LLC, Jeff was a Private Financial Advisor and First Vice President at SunTrust Investment Services for nearly 14 years. He has been in the financial services industry since 1997.

Jeff graduated from Auburn University in 1997 with a bachelor’s degree in finance. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM Professional, earned through studies conducted at Oglethorpe University in 2000.

Feleatha Hyde

Feleatha Hyde is the Director of Client Relations at Owenby Jones Wealth Management, LLC. In this role, she partners with the wealth advisors to ensure all clients receive the highest level of care by assessing their current and long term financial needs and providing the coordination of services and resources to execute their requests.

Prior to joining Owenby Jones Wealth Management, LLC, Feleatha was a Client Advisor and First Vice President at SunTrust Bank/SunTrust Investment Services for over 20 years. In 2012 at SunTrust, Feleatha earned the honor of being a member of the President’s Team due to performing at a high level in the areas of business development, client servicing, and problem resolution. She gained invaluable experience in her management positions in the Retail and Private Banking Divisions at SunTrust. She has been in the financial services industry since 1988.

Feleatha graduated from Middle Tennessee State with Cum Laude Honors with a bachelor’s degree in finance in 1988. While at SunTrust Bank/SunTrust Investment Services, she became a Registered Representative and holds Series 7, 63 and 65 registrations.

Jack Llewellyn

A world-renowned sports psychology consultant, speaker and corporate coach, Dr. Jack Llewellyn is founder and president of the Atlanta-based Center for Winning Performance.

Dr. Llewellyn helps clients use the same approach and strategies used by world famous athletes to properly assess their abilities, correctly focus on the right processes to reach goals, thrive on stress, and recover quickly from adversity in order to become top performers.

Dr. Llewellyn gives more than 40 speeches each year, working with some of the country’s most prestigious companies and organizations. Whether helping a sales team gain greater focus or a leader learn to thrive on stress, Dr. Llewellyn gives both companies and individuals the mental training tools needed for a winning attitude.

Hugh Singletary serves as Chief Executive Officer of Armis Strategies. He has over 30 years of experience in the financial services and life insurance industry. Hugh helps advisors identify financial concerns for their clients and helps provide solutions to resolve their clients’ concerns. By positioning Hugh and his team as the external professional resource, the financial consultant retains the ability to advise his or her client on the merits of the recommendation. This team approach has been successfully received by the client and the client’s other advisors, such as the tax attorney and CPA.
Prior to joining Armis Strategies, Hugh was Senior Vice President at Highland Capital Brokerage. In this role, he covered his own group of advisors that he provided his expertise to and also managed a group of 17 professionals in the southeast who serviced wirehouses, banks and private wealth management firms.
Hugh was also President for 10 years at the agency, AIM Systems. At AIM, Hugh managed a national field force of 23 point of sale professionals, managed the client relationships for their institutional clients made up of wirehouses, banks, regional broker dealers and private wealth management firms. He managed case design as well.
Hugh started his career as a Mass Mutual agent for the first 6 years selling life, disability, annuity and 401(K) plans.
